I hit an aluminum ladder in the dark one morning, and bent two of my 15" wheels, but lost no tires. $150 to Ye Olde Wheel shop and they were like new.

I hit a piece of scrap metal in the M one morning, and cut a tire but no damage to the wheel. Amazing.

I have to say something here to defend my driving, I drive about 30000 miles a year, and in doing so, have seen almost everything on the road. Most I miss, but there is the occassional break in concentration.

Good luck, and watch the road.
