I bought a motor from them in august of 2000. 2 months ago my car was leaking oil and the reason was because of the valve cover gasket. They claim 2 year warrentee if anything happens. I called them up and talked to there warantee department which is a guy named bruce. Bruce told me that oil leaks is only covered through 6 months from the date of purchase. it had been 7 months os i had to fix that out of my pocket. Then one month ago my timing chain had jumped and so i call brunce again and he tells me to tell my mechanic to do a leak and compression test. It had low compression in two cylinders so they pick it up 1 week later. So then it takes them 2 weeks analyze and fix the motor. I Finally get the motor back and my mechanic asks me what they did i told them that they retimed the motor. So he is in the middle of install and he does a compression test and my reading was 80, and my motor would not crank over. So i call back Bruce today and i tell him whats going on and he says "its not our fault it came out the shop working" i tell him they why isnt working now!!! He says that my mechanic is lying and that he doesnt know what he is doing. His shop makes about 150k a month and he is telling my mechanic that he doesnt know what he is doing? He says that he is not going to pick up the motor and fix it. So then i talk to the manager and i tell him whats going on and he refuses to fix it also. ive only had this motor for 8 months and only put 6k miles on it. Now i have to find a new motor and sue the fuck out of bavarian engine exchange. Take my word for it...DONT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY....THEY DONT BACK UP THERE ENGINES AND THEY ARE A SCAM!!!!!!
