OK guys I just picked up my car and ive got some thoughts, concerns and feedback. My first question is: I drive a 95 M3 and have 18"x8.5" Hamman wheels running 225/40/18 in front and 255/35/18 in the rear. I got my suspension changed out to the H&R/Bilstein Sport kit, how much of a drop should I expect once the springs have settled? Right now I dont see much of a difference, I can feel that the ride is a hell of a lot stiffer and that the back dropped about half an inch so far. The front still looks like it did before the "upgrade". I was hoping for about 2 inches in the front and around 1.5 in the rear. Will I get anywhere near that?
I also had a SuperSprint DTM tipped exhaust installed. It looks alright, I think I should have gone with the AA exhaust, anyway its not too loud which is good because the police in Irvine CA are a bunch of pricks and they would bust you for sneazing too loud. The tips are alright, they are the mandrel bent tips not the true DTM. Maybe I'm just anal but I really think the true DTM tips look a lot better. Something to remember for the next time.
The last part installed today was a Dinan Strut Tower Brace. Yes, its the one with the hinge. I know there is an ongoing debate down below about which strut brace is the best. I think it really does make a difference and I can feel it when I'm going around turns, or even driving on the freeway, the car just feels a lot more solid. Anyway thats what I got done today. My questions are, 1)how much will my suspension lower in the next few days/weeks. 2)In case I dont like the SuperSprint exhaust are there any shops in the Southern California (Orange County, LA County) area that sell AA DTM exhaust? Can anyone please give feedback. Thanks in Advance
