If you go with AVS Intermediate 255/40 17's, they will only rub on HUGE bumps, or a full car. If you go with Yokohama AVS A520 TL 255/40's, they will rub almost all the time. I am having my fenders rolled on Monday morning for $50 per fender, and I think the cost of rolling them is worth the cost of the extra tires.

i have a 97 m3 4. anyone have any experience with these sizes on the stock rear rims. TIA

bought new MXX3's 2,000 miles ago and now one on the rear is torn so the only mxx3's avail now are in those sizes since its been discontinued. obviously i will be buying two.
