The crossmemeber it bolts to it also aluminum, so I wouldn't worry about corrosion. I just replaced mine recently (with 320i mounts and washers to match the stock height - 0.0980" difference on mine), I don't see any reason to worry. They're secured very well.


After reading several reviews on the various tranny mount options, I am leaning towards UUC's mount which maintains the same diameter bolt. My question is concerning the aluminum Enforcer. Has anyone experienced noticeable fretting or fretting corrosion between the aluminum Enforcer and the structure it bolts to? Too me, it seems that the aluminum Enforcer, mounted in a location susceptible to high vibrational loading will end up damaging the surrounding metal. Anyone from UUC care to comment?
