The JTD alu underpanel actually replaces all (4) of the cheap OEM pieces. There are 2 wing- shaped pieces that are on the far left and right, the large sink like piece that attaches under the frame, and a smaller long piece that fits fwd of the large sink panel.

If the OEM underpanel has been damaged, there's some repair work to do to either reenforce the wheelwell panels or replace them. I chose to reenforce with small aluminum strips so I know this won't happen again.

As far as hitting another curb and hurting the JTD panel, I've found that the JTD panel tucks in much tighter than the OEM and will clear most curbs, at least for stock M3 suspensions.

I've had mine on for several months now and really like it.

Ken
