I currently have a '96 3000GT VR-4 and I'm selling it and moving into an M3. I am wondering what the differences between the '95 and '96 models are, besides the obvious engine size difference. I'm really interested in things like reliability cost of ownership etc. Also I'd really like to bump my M3 up to about 270hp and I was wondering what it would take to do that in each.

Thanks,
Mike

Check out WWW.dinanbmw.com. They have various performance packages with HP gains with dyno charts and prices. The only problem is that they are far more expensive than companies like Turner and ECIS. This will give you a good idea what needs to be done.
I'm in the middle of putting togather a "Dinan package" using other after market companies at half the price.
