argh it's late sorry :-( I would be really carefull!!!! on any warranty that is not (in house/ BMW set) I worked for a Honda Dealer in college I saw sooo many customers get screwed it's not funny I would stick the two grand in an intrest bearing savings account you still have some BMW left? that will hold you on intill there are sufficent funds for any thing major.
also really check into the 100K cert. used BMW warrentys
