turbo. I was just typing it out in the long form but somehow it is lost now.

Anyhow. Same situation as yours. I hit the gas. Get up to 90...try to let him pass. He follows me into the right lane continues to close(he is like 12" away at this point) I am like "fucker" I hit the gas some more. Until I max out the car...which is 100...at that point. I cannot pull away(I wasn't really expecting the car to pull away...but I was expecting the people who were like 12" away from my bumper to leave me alone:P) So I couldn't so I let off of the gas slowly(as they were so close I didn't want to be tapped at 100mph).

So anyhow as soon as I let off the gas...then he turns on his lights. Well that just gave me a heart attack.

But I tried to remain calm. And I guess I did. I made sure not to answer any questions that really had no good answer. "Do you always drive like that".

Anyway long story short I told him that I thought he was pushing me and I was trying to get out of his way. I also said that I stopped immediately when he turned on his lights.

Anyhow. When I went to court I read up on the little laws and stuff. There was one where the cops super powers don't really turn on until he turns on the lights.

So I told the lawyer that and he asked me if I knew it was a cop. I was like no. Saying that the instant he turned on his police lights I was trying to get safely over to the right shoulder.

Well fine was 35$. (about 1$ per mph over the limit)
