You can modify the US housings by Dremeling out the factory connections, so they work better with the 540i direct fit Xenon kit. There is a bout a 12 mm difference in where the light is emitted from on the 9006 bulbs and the DS2 Xenon bulbs, and if you clear the plastic and seal the bulb into the MOdified US housing you get great results. I think that you can check the archives for more info. Mine work great.
