Almost the exact same thing happened to me in Indiana about 5 years ago. Except it happened in daylight with a undercover black camero tailgating me at 80mph for 5 miles. I slowed to 70 to let it pass, it wouldn't, so I sped up and tried to lose it. I got ticketed at 98mph, but was also charged with reckless driving. Since you were over 100mph it becomes a higher offense.
My advice, get a lawyer- they will most likely be able to reduce it down to a speeding violation (a traffic infraction) verses reckless driving ( a misdemeanor which is permanently on your record).
I would plead not guilty and use the angle of entrapment (which this was) and that you are nervous about people tailgating you at 3am in the middle on nowhere. Carjacking, robbing rich bmw owners, etc. does happen....
I was able to get reckless driving charges dropped, but still had to pay the speeding ticket (fine reduced) The $350 I paid for the lawyer was much better than the permanently higher insurance rates that I would have had to pay.
good luck
