I have a '96 M3 3.2 Liter engine with the new computer. Either there is something completely different with the '95 M3's vs. '96 M3's or mine is completely messed up. Heres my problem: When I hit the throttle hard to the floor the RPM's will stay at the highest RPM I hit, even though I took my foot off the gas to shift.. tending to stay at the same RPM, not ever dropping down even though I let the clutch out. Especially when Im in a hurry. Is this normal function for a '96+ M3? Could this be signs of computer chip reprogramming (I just bought 2,000 miles ago and previously had a '95 M3 which didnt do this at all)? Any help is appreciated thank you.
