What are the differences betw. 95 3.0 and 3.2's (archive)

I've been debating on whether to buy a E30M3 for a while, and am now considering a E36M3 for maintenance reasons. I was wondering what the main performance differences between 3.0 and 3.2 are??? and how much of a difference OBD1 and OBD2 makes. Thanks. This will be my first BMW if i decide to buy but i'm looking to get a perfect mate!?! I've driven both E30M3 and E36M3 and they both make me sooo happy! :)
