Not contradicting myself at all. Re-read what I wrote:

1) changing the pedal arm bushings is not the easiest job in the world, many people shy away from it....

Note many, not all. That's quite a big difference.

UUC offers a clutch stop solution that works regardless of whether you choose to replace your clutch arm bushings or not. We don't force you to buy new clutch arm bushings just to get a clutch stop to work.
