Right now my car is having some front end damage repaired. Since they were going to have to paint the new hood, quater panels, etc., I asked them for a quote to paint my moldings.

I was quoted $675 to paint moldings and trim in the front and back. That included new moldings. Apparently it's much easier to paint new ones as the old ones are held on with clips and adhesive. The clips tend to break making them harder to put back on.

At any rate, I decided to pass. Also, people told me not to have the door handles painted.
