Bavarian Subwoofer? good, or bad? (archive)

I am interested in purchasing bav autos system. I mostly listen to jazz/rock. I have the harmon kardon system in my M3, but I want a little more bass. I don't BLAST my music, nor do I want some earth shaking, expensive system. Does anyone have a comments on the bav auto system, or other options which I should consider. I don't want to spend more than $700 on a system.
