I rotate my tires (same wheels front and back) and I still get about 8k miles out of my tires, with 6k being the worst and 10k the best. I've tried Yoko AVS Sports, The Michelins MXX, Falken GR-Bs, and Bridgestone RE730s. I'm going to try the Kumho 712s next.. not a lot of grip, but decent treadwear as I understand. The RE730s have had pretty good wear as well so far.
