It's in a small cavity on the passenger side behind the firewall...it is only a threat if your drain area below the windshield gets clogged (sitting outside, leaves, grit...stuff like that) then the DME cavity becomes an unwilling overflow area...BAD.....

So, go ahead and wash your car, keep the drain area below the windshiled clean and you're OK
