Simple formula... If you are a person who enjoys "spirited" driving you will quickly find the top of the envelope at which your car can safely perform, and then drive at that level more times than not. The M is a better car, better brakes, better clutch, transmission, suspension, etc. It was beefed up to take 300 HP in daily driving situations.

With that said, you'll still want to turbo charge it in a few years once you're done paying for it. It's so easy to become acustomed to power. =)
