the aftermarket mods will put this in a poor light with a dealer if he were to trade it in

dealers don't like cars that aren't stock

ask him what the dealer offered him and add to that the tax savings he would get by trading it in plus another $1k if you feel generous assuming no paint work ever and some sort of existing warranty
