these are the REAL WORLD prices
ANY price guide is just that, a GUIDE. There is NO WAY your or any other car is worth "retail" regardless of KBB, NADA, etc. the trade-in or wholesale values in these guides come closer to what they are worth, depending on the color, location, mods, etc
Once again, no dealer will touch a non-stock car with a generous offer
you can buy cars like that for the prices I quoted
I was offered a 98 sedan with 35k and warranty for 28.9 OBO from the original owner
The dealers are not giving squat on trade-ins and that is what determines what the cars are worth
go ahead and take YOUR car to the dealer and ask how much they will give you, it will be one of two answers:
a. a figure ***WAY*** below "wholesale"
b. $0, they will have to get a "buy bid" from a wholesaler because they don't want your car
once you spend some time in the automobile business you will come to understand values much easier
