could be a false error. friend of mine ran my car out of gas. it took several starts of the ignition to reset itself. there are many different causes for check light. if the car is still running fine i would monitor it it for a few days before going to the shop. Just my .02.

and it doesn't seem/feel loose; light is still on.....
no I didn't put gas on it today....

my check engine light came on today...my wife noticed it was on while I was driving the car; don't really know how long it's been on...info pls....I would really apprecite
