It was actually the side impact support that runs horizontal with the door. The bolts were loose and causing this noise. It took several stops at the dealer to figure this one out. Good thing there were no side impact crashes.
Has anybody had noise @the B pillar? Seems to occur often when someone is sitting in the front passenger seat. I can't tell if it is in the seat belt post area or if it is in the doors around the 'B' pillar. I had used the rubber seal conditioner by BMW called "Gummiflug", and still have this noise.
Any help or thoughts on this is appreciated.
