BTW, if you turn on the ignition with the gas cap off while you are filling the tank, you will get a check engine light. The computer thinks that there is a leak in the sealed fuel system, which operates at a relatively high degree of pressurization. Typically, this happens when someone turns on the key to listen to the stereo system whle gas is being pumped. The light will go out by itself - without being reset - after about (30?) on/off cycles. Don't ask me how I know this.
