i checked the fluids, sensors, gas cap, oil filler cap, air cleaner etc, basically everytning under the hood, but i'm still getting the check engine light in my dash. no messages on my obc. the only recent mod that i did was my suspension which lowered my car a little. is this the cause of my check engine light. i disconnected the battery to reset, but the light still comes on. What else could it be? Thanks in advance.

anything, but the 2 common problems are the gas cap and the O2 sensors. For me, it seems to be the gas cap, if it's intermittent then it may be the gas cap is not fitting securely so get a new one or take the old one and take off the rubber gasket and soak it in silicone protectant to make it bigger and thicker. I also bent the spring type
cushion in the gas cap upward so that it will seal better.
