I personally thought the factory system was crap. In my opion JL speakers are ok but they have a very distinct sound that isn't always friendly to all types of music. I have tried all kindof subs. Velodyne was my favorite but waaaay to expensive.

I have the q-logic kickpanels with focal 5 1/4 seperates and a Image Dynamics 10" sub in a custom sealed box all ran by a Xtant amp. I took out the back speakers which allows for alittle better transfer of sound I am very happy with my setup. I did a frequency response test and was almost even all the way down the board. The only problem I have with my setup is you loose the dead pedal with the new kickpanels. So I have to take them out everytime I go to the track.
