I know that at certain times, usually when decelerating, you can smoothly pop the transmission out of gear.
Does anyone know if this is bad for the car? I haven't done it on my M, but tried it on loaner cars!
Thanks.

I learned to rev match downshifts w/o using the clutch on a rental. Would I do this to my baby? uh hell no, but I do double (de)clutch my downshifts on the track, thanks to that rental car for the practice.
