I'm looking to spend $19k - $24k.
Depending on options, condition, mileage, records, etc etc. $24k isn't a hard ceiling, but given the current state of the market, the car would have to be amazing to warrant more than $24k.

Pricing for these cars seems to have come down recently, likely as the 1995s have fallen off the traditional financing ledge (most banks will not lend on a car older than 5-years, those that do are usually pretty high). Availability seems pretty good. It seems to be a buyers market, in other words.

I have about twenty potentials already identified, and a short list of about six. My final decision will probably come down to whoever from my short list is willing to move the farthest on their asking price for an immediate cash-in-hand buyer.

Decision will be made this week, in a matter of days. The car will likely be purchased and possibly in my hands by this weekend. I would also be open to a pre-purchase deposit and someone holding on to the car for a while - I'm not in a huge hurry.
