Albeit, at the high end of the range, it is definitely within what I consider the range for a clean '95 M3 ($18-$22k). I am actually pursuing a '95 that I was willing to pay $22k for and someone bought it at $21k before I had a chance to buy it.

If you want to make yourself feel better, check out the listings in Roundel. They will most likely range $22-$25k for a clean '95. But again, those cars are known for demanding the highest prices, justified or not.

Market price is whatever someone will pay for the car. If you feel that $20.75k is market price, then take a chance and hold out. If someone buys the car before you at $22k, you will have the answer as to whether you were right or not.

Sometimes when dealing with prized possessions like an M3, you should let a few hundred dollars get in the way.
