I like to do my own maintenance so I learn more about the car. I'm coming up on my first oil change and when I had the car on the lift to put my new wheels and tires on, I found the oil plug, but no filter. Where the held did those damn Germans put that thing. Also what kind of filter do you guys recommend?
Thanx,
Justin

First, Justin, I suggest you invest in a Bentley manual for your car. It would easily answer the question for you. Second, try looking under the hood, right up front - metal canister holds filter. Third, check following link - click on "tech Procedures" and then "Oil Change". You can view procedure on-line or download .pdf doc. Fourth, I have German friends and I don't take kindly to reference to "those damn Germans". Try adjusting the attitude please.

Rgds,
Norm
