I like to do my own maintenance so I learn more about the car. I'm coming up on my first oil change and when I had the car on the lift to put my new wheels and tires on, I found the oil plug, but no filter. Where the held did those damn Germans put that thing. Also what kind of filter do you guys recommend?

I didn't mean to offend anyone. When I used to work on my Honda it was those damn Japanese or whoever made the car. I just thought it was odd that I didn't see the oil filter right away when I looked for it. No doubt the germans make the best cars in the world, that's why I own one...proudly!
