Gettin' ready to mod...AA or UUC Exhaust? (archive)

I'm about to take the plunge and install an exhaust on my 27,000 mile '97 M3/4. She's stone stock and I was going to leave her that way but screw it. She's too quiet. I want to hear that straight 6, hehe. I'm also going to do a few other minor mods: AA or ECIS intake, x-brace, UUC trans mounts and, budget permitting, UUC short shifter.

I'm torn b/t the UUC and AA exhaust systems. Both are about the same price. The UUC is lighter and has bigger tubes so I'm leaning towards that. Has anyone installed a UUC, or AA? I'm going to be doing this myself and seem to remember a few posts saying the UUC was hard to install correctly. My archive search, however, didn't yield much useful info on this point. Any advice on installation issues would be appreciated.

Thx!
