Hey guys, in the next day or two, I'll be picking up a silver 1997 M3 coupe with 63,000 miles for $22,900. Assuming the autoshop says all is good with the car, I'm going to go ahead and pick it up. The guy who is selling the car is a jeweler and got the car from a dealer/collector friend of his as payment for a diamond (must be pretty damn big). Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about extended warranties. Specifically,
1) Can I get a certification from a BMW dealership (I live in WA, very impressed with the BMW NW people I talked to)?

2) What is the best option for an extended warranty outside of a dealership? Any info on prices and service/coverage?

3) Is it worth the extra cash? I'm stretching my budget as is, but for this price I can't pass it up.

Also, anyone have an idea what the HK audio system consists of? Didn't see a changer in the trunk. Thanks.
David
