Yes I started removing my lower front grill in my Dakar 95 so I can either paint it black or replace it with a new one which is already black and I heard about those pesky little washer things but its a real pain in the ass! I got two off without breaking the pins but stopped there. Of course the two pins are quite mutilated but at least i didn't break them. I tried cutting it with some wire cutters but that didn't work. The other one i basically "inverted" it so it could be pulled out. But i don't know if there will be enough "meat" on the pin to place a new one securely.
Is there a trick to this? That won't take 4 hours, break or mutilate the pin, or scratch up your arm?
