Thanks, i definitely don't care about the little clip washer things, I'll buy new ones, I'm just worried about accidently cutting or tearing the pin that comes out of the bumper. HOw big are your cutters? Maybe i need larger ones.

i used a pair of diagonal cutters. it sucks and takes forever. i would suggest buying new clippy things as well.

Yes I started removing my lower front grill in my Dakar 95 so I can either paint it black or replace it with a new one which is already black and I heard about those pesky little washer things but its a real pain in the ass! I got two off without breaking the pins but stopped there. Of course the two pins are quite mutilated but at least i didn't break them. I tried cutting it with some wire cutters but that didn't work. The other one i basically "inverted" it so it could be pulled out. But i don't know if there will be enough "meat" on the pin to place a new one securely.

Is there a trick to this? That won't take 4 hours, break or mutilate the pin, or scratch up your arm?
