I have a 98 e36 M3 euro spec, teh car has 36,000kms on it and I already replaced the clutch once before (disk and plate)the previous owner wasn't real good with a maunual, at least that what I tought. This weekend at a BMW gathering in San Antonio, Tx we went out for a drive thru the hill country and the car was AWSOME! the guys in e30 M3 had just nothing to do, (121hp difference)After some 120mph + runs and heavy breaking and shifting, when we stopped for some pics and after about 15 minutes I started my car and moved it for some pics, everything seemed normal until I tried to make a crazy U turn, taht is with a burnout, and the clutch just let go, the car felt as if it was spinning, revs went up but no mevement. And that horrible smell of burned clutch.
After some cooldown time the clutch seems normal again, what can it be?, should I just replace it again? which should I buy now? is centerforce good?
