When I got my '99 in May '01 it started exhibiting the posessed fuel gauge syndrome; the gauge would flip to empty, flip back, be O.K. for an hour or 10 and then do it again. Dealer said and I'd seen this mentioned on the board that this is a known problem. Dealer replaced flakey sending units under warranty and it's been fine since (7k miles).

I've read through the archives on fuel gauge problems - there seems to be a lot of '99s with issues. Add my '99 Coupe to the list (15.5K miles).
