Hi all,

I've been looking for an m3 for the past month. It's a great time to buy with prices falling, but it's also tough because there are SO MANY cars out there and it's hard to filter out the mistreated ones and the ones that people still don't really want to part with (unless you pay them way too much). So I thought it might be easier to post a WTB message. I have money in hand and ready to buy, so if you're tired of your m3 not selling contact me and let's close a deal.

Here's what I'm looking for:

95-98 m3 ($16K to $26K)
MUSTS
manual
under 70K miles for 95
under 50K miles for newer cars
outstanding condition in and out (no dings or scratches, soft cared-for leather)
no dealers

PREFERENCES (in order)
cared for by a real enthusiast
synthetic oil (engine and tranny)
first or second owner
warranty
dark interior
coupe
not red exterior
CD changer
95 with sport package
magma interior

From watching the market, I feel that 95s should be going for under $20K; 97s with low miles should be going for under $25K. Most people posting to this board seem to be saying the same thing.

I'm located in the DC area, but cars out here are often more likely to be mistreated and more likely to have very high asking prices. So I don't mind flying somewhere for the right car at the right price.

Please contact me at schambers@mac.com--or post here...

thanks!
Sam

p.s. Also contact me if you are interested in trading for or buying an immaculate 1990 Porsche 911 (964) C2 Coupe--94K miles ALL everything.
