one big phaaaaaaaat ticket...help! (archive)

i was driving on rout 1 in Arlington VA today, and was doin 120mph(i know i know..) for the hell of it, unfortunately i spoted a cop behind the bushes, slammed on my brakes, and could only get down to 88mph by the time he caught me. Anyways, so i get a ticket for the following...

-Rickeless driving(88mph)
-No front tags
-Expired Inspection(was planning on having it done tomorrow!)

so he tells me i need to appear in court in a month, no fine or anything! ...what happens if i dont show up? will i eventually get a letter telling me to pay it off?

btw...that Supersprint Exhaust(AA chip and ECIS) sounded too damn sweet at 120mph! :D

...and please spare me the lecture on high speed driving!
