They are the forged M3 lightweight wheels. A factory option in 98. They definitely have the best finish of the M wheels.

I have a 98 M3 as close to mint as you can get for a car driven 37000 miles. The car is cosmos black, 2 door, with light grey leather. It has Every factory option and many upgrades including klasse exhaust, conforti software, carbon fibre interior, UUC shifter and titanium knob and ebrake handle, ECIS cold air intake, and much more.
