Use a screw extraction bit on your drill. They sell them at Home Depot and other hardware stores. They are usually near the drill bits and cost about $2-3.


the head? is striped? It's a phlips screw, but the part where the screwdriver fits into is almost completely striped... I remember having to tap/drill out a bolt/nut a long time ago, but never a screw like this...Any suggestions welcome.
