I used to live in CO & recommend the Michelin Pilot Alpin, Pirelli 210's or Yoko guardex in that order. Norm is wrong - the 210's are still avail at Tire Rack & other tire stores.225/45-17's work well on a 17x7.5 rim or drop back to a 16 inch rim w/ 205/55 or 215/55 tire.

I just checked TireRack 'again' and (I am talking about the Pirelli Winter 210 Asimmetrico) there are no 225/45-17 size available which is what I need for my 17x7.5" rims.
