An irrational attack on various targets could throw the world the economic chaos. Shut down the oil flow from the mid east, spread war in Iseral, force our hand to take sides in the conflict, have the arab nations break off relations, etc, etc. This would grind our transportion/ trade/ecomomy to halt. It could get ugly if we don't be careful. I don't even what to bring up the fact that a well functing ecomony supports about a 1000% more people than what would be typical in a natural undeveloped state.
What has happen to the Soviet Union states after the collapse could play it's self out in the west if we don't measure our response(s) carefully. We stabilized the world after the Soviet collapse. If we go, there is no world stabization. It's over. Basically, we are what our economy allows us to be. An irrational response is exactlly what the religions right wing fanactics want. Economic meltdown=Aramageddon.
Once we know who/where the people/groups are that are responsible, then it will be a very sorry day for them. Until then we just have to eat it.
I guess george W's vacation is over.
