Hey guys and gals, listen, the fact of the matter is this, most of the newer cars on the road are LEASED vehicles, period. A practice that has cheapened many a car, including BWM... so now anybody with $500/ month can drive things they could never really "afford"...don't be fooled... Someone asked if the dealers bend the truth a little to sell the cars, absolutely. The untrained eye/ear can't tell... the new perform almost as well as an M car...they come draped in everything the e36 M's had...ie. wheel/tire sizes, brakes, etc, and dealers push "sport packages" and options like pimps...Lets face it, most people considering a new car are so excited, they don't even process half of what they hear at the stealer... Sure the engines, chasis and suspensions are different, but how many people can tell that just by driving the car?? Yes, the new 330's are sleek and fast, but they're no match for an M3...e36 or e46, the engineers know that, and would never sell us out like that(at least I'd hope not)... I think most 330 "drivers" know that too...but want to see what the M-hype is all about... BMW's are great cars, some obviously better than others...and as someone said, they're always changing, sometimes for the better, sometimes not.
