use the key to lock it. That is what triggers the double lock. But when you don't have a factory alarm and decide an alarm is a must, like me, or decide to change it to an aftermarket unit, the installers forget or don't know how to trigger the double lock for the gas door using the aftermarket alarm unit. This is what I'm attempting to correct.
