However, for those moments when you aren't steering the ship on the way to work in a starbucks-deprived coma, and you want to run with the car and the car to be alive, you can't duplicate the experience in an M3. On the track, even with stock suspension, the feedback and tractability are other-worldly. The sound of the exhaust rocks. The shifting and braking awesome, the steering wheel is alive. You can feel through the seat of your pants what the rear end is doing at all times. It loves the juice in the corners. Throttle steering is kids play.
In the S4, well, you get none of that.
Again, it's all an issue of priorities.
Both awesome cars though. Let's just be thankful we have such a tough decision on cars and don't have to drive buicks.
