I was chillin w/ my girl on MD rt 29N yesterday, and as I began to slowly ease away from a light that had just turned green, I glanced in my rear view mirror and noticed that the car behind me was all up in my ass. So, I totally let-off the gas, initially. With that, the car behind me bounced to the next lane and attempted to pass me. Of course, I was already on it by this time. The car got right next to me as we both nailed it. I looked over and saw a gold Lex GS occupied by two people, a guy driver and his lady. Well, I botched the first to second gear shift, bumping up aginst the rev limiter just before lifting to shift, I was a full car length ahead anyway. The second to third shift was flawless, as was the third to fourth. I continued to gradually pull on the big GS up to about 125 mph where I let off for the approaching red light. I had about a 4 car gap at that point. I then snaked through some slow traffic while the fat GS was left far behind. 2 miles or so later the GS and I met at a stop light side by side. He had clearly been trying to catch up and had finally done so. Instead of pulling up even with my car where we could exchange pleasantries, he stayed about a quarter of a car length back. I looked back out of the corner of my eye and saw that the car had a sales sticker in the window and saw the driver staring down at my rims/tires with a pissed-off look on his face. Buyer's remorse, I thought? I figured he was pushin'a GS300, and should have gotten a GS400. Well, as he pulled-off, I saw that it WAS a GS400. Those things aint shit . . .
