If you're getting pinging and CE lights with 20/50 regular oil...sheesh, you gotta switch to a more mainstream oil to unmask exactly what's going on.....Iuse 5/W30 synthetic and have no pinging at all...a little valve ticking for about 15 seconds when she first starts, but then she's fine...

I guess my point is that you might already be masking some problems with that molasses you're running.....
