Turns out the front and rear signals use different bulbs but the dealership sold me 4 of the same bulb. That took care of the always on indicators when my lights were on.
Next, the rapid indicator. Means that one of your bulbs is either not seated properly or burned out. Check your element first (assuming you can even see it. Next clean the connectors and reseat your bulbs. The "posts" that are on the side of the bulb and are used to guide the bulb into the mount are staggered. The bulbs are meant to only go in one way, but I was able to get them in the wrong way with a bit of force. If you have to force the bulb in, you did it wrong. Lastly, don't forget that the bulb needs to get pushed in and then twisted in place to be installed correctly.
Hope this helps!
Ok, I tried this out and before re-installing the bulbs, I put one in and tried the flashers. Crap it didn't work. So, I installed all of them and it still doesn't work. Did I mess something up by trying the flahsers when I didn't have bulbs plugged into all the receptacles? When turning on the blinkers, the dash display flashes rapidly, but the turn signals do not light? Any ideas. Did I blow a fuse or burn out a relay or something?
My car is an M Roadster. I have posted this here due to the many knowledgable people here. Thanks much for help.
I cracked one of the bulbs when re-installing it. I replaced the bulb and everything works. Thanks much.
