I was looking at buying this nice 18k white gold male ring for myself in the mall... then today, I was curious, so I went on ebay and checked for the same ring. Noone has Mont Blanc rings, but I found many others with diamonds and the whole 9 yards. Anyway, the ring I was gonna buy is solid 18k white gold made by Mont Blanc with some a choice of 4 gems. It was $1275 ("originally" $1700). THen if you look on ebay, you can get a ring that "costs" $6k for like $500... what gives? Would any of you buy from ebay? Even if they advertise the exact clarity/that it's solid, and they're a trusted seller/have a business IRL? I'm just curious if I should just pay for that ring -- that I liked a lot -- or find something way better for hte price online?
